Viet Cone Travel Company prefers to design responsible destinations in almost all our tour itineraries, and explore new destinations in which sustainable tourism activities can be exploited and expanded to create new tour routes in our products. We attempt to make contributions to the sustainable tourism development at destinations by respecting and preserving nature and culture, supporting local people’s lives and local sustainable initiatives.

 

Additionally, we encourage our customers to join hands in promoting sustainability by visiting less frequented places, engaging in cultural and environmental activities and contributing to local communities.

We give these principles to promote sustainability at the destinations:

• Take sustainability aspects into consideration when choosing new destinations and possibly offer alternative, non-mainstream destinations to avoid over-tourism and its negative impacts.

• Do not suggest destinations that tourism leads to negative impacts on local culture and environment to customers.

• Comply with conservation laws and tourism management plans regulated by local and national authorities.

• Support local sustainable initiatives.

• Influence and support local authorities (if possible, together with other travel companies and stakeholders) concerning sustainability, destination planning, management, use of natural resources and socio-cultural issues.

• Promote the purchase of locally produced products and services, and prevent the purchase of illegally obtained goods.
